Film Shots Video

Having just made my first short video using iMovie, the thing that I find myself remembering is how often the program quit on me. I'm so glad it saves automatically. But other than that, it was easy to use, very simple and straight forward. I had no difficulty editing my video or adding my sound track. (made in Garage Band, also super easy)
The thing I had trouble with is the shooting. I have always had a chronic shaky hand problem, and it shows in a few of my clips. Note to self: in future, use tripod. The shot I like the best is the one I though I wouldn't be able to do, a tracking shot. I simply filmed my sister running in a circle around me. Some how, my hands remained steady.
This wasn't quite as difficult as I thought it would be... especially the editing. Hopefully I can take better film next time.

Wok Fired Mozzarella Sticks

This video is about wok fried mozzarella sticks. I chose this video because its a new type of food I haven't seen and it looks really good. I would like to try it because it looks good and I'm hungy.

Training to Play the World's Game

Training to Play the World's Game; Academy of Ajax Amsterdam

I pick this video because it's about soccer and how hard the kids train. It shows how different other country treat the game of soccer and how important it is. This video shows all the different things the kids go through to become pro and play for all the big and important teams in Europe.

ON THIN ICE VIDEO [NEW YORK TIMES]

ON THIN ICE

I picked this video because it is cool and funny and it shows how hard it is there.
It is about ice racing and that is what they do all the time because they all do not have work.
they might lose there home and this all takes place in new hampshire.

Negative facts of Steroids

Steroids

They interviewed Patrick Antoneechia a body builder, who used steroids. He said he used steroids because he wanted to be different and bigger than anyone. I chose this video because it matches my interests about health.

New York Times Video: Home Field Advantage Overnight

Home Field Advantage, Overnight
I chose this video to show because it was very interesting and seemed like a challenge to the employees at the New Medowlands Stadium. I can not even imagine doing something that takes a week like a hard school project or studying for a very hard test but instead of doing that in a week which is possible to do well but these people did it all in one night. I found this very interesting and cool.

Music Minute: Lil Wayne - New York Times Video

Music Minute: Lil Wayne - New York Times Video

I chose this video to show to the class because I love Lil Wayne's music. I think the video could have been better if they had Lil Wayne actually come onto the video and talk. The presenter, Kelefa Sanneh, basically introduced Lil Wayne's new album, The Carter II (which was new when the video was made). You got to hear pieces of his music and heard descriptions of some of the music on the album. Kelefa also went a little bit into Lil Wayne's character and his experiences, such as his hometown, New Orleans, being destroyed by hurricane Katrina, and his producer quitting.

Artificial Intelligence Offers Really Creepy Looking Robots

The New York Time's recent interview with a robot is pretty awesome, but really creepy. I don't like her face. It seems too zombie like and dead, which I guess is inevitable is you're going to create an almost human like robot, which falls under the ominous uncanny valley. Well, get ready for the robot uprising, which I guess will also now inevitably happen.

Longboarding

This video is about a league for people who longboard. Longboarding is not like skateboarding it requires a tremendous amount of balance, guts, and in some cases really quick reflexes. This video really interested me because I skateboard and longboarding is something completely different from what skateboarding is even though the boards looks the same. I have huge respect for these guys that are doing this even if they're wearing super tight clothing. It takes a lot of guts and skill to get on a longboard and go over 60 mph down a really big hill and not be worry about crashing at high speed.

New York Times: The Not-So-Strong Kidney

I picked this video because it looked interesting and informative about the negative side effects of steroid use. They did this by interviewing a former professional body builder, who after years of steroid use was told to stop for the sake of his life.

Lil' Wayne on Gang Violence Interview

This was a interview I really liked because in this video Lil Wanye, one of most known rappers talks about gangs. There are also some other people who are talking about gang violence in the video. For me this is a really important subject because people are killing each other. Therefore, I suggest everyone to pay attention to it.

Drake on Jimmy Kimmel part 1 and part 2

Jimmy Kimmel interviews Drake, Drake is a famous raper and part of Young Money which is a music label owned by Lil Wayne.
I think this is a very good interview because Jimmy Kimmel knows all different things about Drake so they always have something to talk about. Jimmy also makes jokes in the interview so the interview never gets boring and your can easily follow the whole interview.

Charles Manson, an infamous serial murderer, killed nine people and is now in jail for life. His answers are often surreal or strange. It is obvious that here, Manson has created his own reality, or lack of it for that matter. Although He blames the world around him, he is exiling himself as to make up for crimes, although he is genuinely insane. Here is one of his most interesting answers, this time from a different interview:

Lady Gaga Interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show

In this interview Lady Gaga appears on the Ellen DeGeneres show, a show notorious for being goofy and laid back. Parts of the show even includes dancing with the audience. Lady Gaga, with her odd but original style and funny, innocent personality, fits right in the show. They discuss multiple topics, from her clothing and inspiration to her fans and career.

Paul Rodriguez interview

This video is about how Paul Rodriguez became pro. He talked about his life and how he skates for fun and how he made videos and eventually went pro. I like this video because it is a good video and I like how he says he skates for fun because so do I.

Bill O'Reilly Interviews Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert is a satirical newsman, the premise of his show is a parody on the Fox news shows such as the O'Reilly Factor. Colbert describes his emulation of O'Reilly and at the same time is poking fun at the seriousness of O'Reilly. The entire interview is satirical, the questions are answered with comedy and a lightness. however at the same time there is a serious undertone mostly with O'Reilly's part.

YOUTUBE INTERVIEW WITH KATY PERRY

In this interview she talks about her music videos that people make jokes about it. I thought it was a good interview because they let all kinds of people talk to her about it because they wanted to know more information about her.

Ali-G Interviews Noam Chomsky

Ali-G is a character create by the actor Sacha Baron Cohen, here we see an interview with linguist and MIT professor Noam Chomsky. Ali-G is notorious for being ironic and intentionally ignorant in interview which makes his character immensely popular. In fact, his show is extremely popular with the masses. What makes this interview interesting and hilarious is Prof. Chomsky's utter seriousness in regard to Ali-G's questions and confusions. It almost seems like another "day at the office" but in fact, this is no ordinary day or interview.

Joe Kine Halftime Interview

This is an interview with Joe Kine at halftime of the 2006 Independence Bowl between University of Alabama and Oklahoma State University. I think that this is a good interview because it shows how stressful a job like the Alabama head football coach must be. I am an Alabama fan and from this interview he cares about how the team does and not just about the money and his next contract.

7-Year-Old Takes Car On Joyride

This video is about a 7 year old kid that took his grandmother's car for a joy ride with his friend and on his joy ride he managed to damaged the car pretty badly...
This video is amusing to me because I thought the kid was feeling somewhat bad about what he did but he felt disappointed that he got caught so that to me was pretty amusing.
