YOUTUBE PARTNER thoughts
What did you think of the videos yesterday that were "partnered?" For example what did you think of Fred's popularity? What are some of your ideas about what makes a video channel popular? How does what we saw yesterday affect your TV proposal?
I thought that some of the videos were pointless and kind of stupid... But apparently that is what appeals to younger audience. Which is who is mostly watching Fred or Smosh.. I do like thought that just a kid from my age group is more popular on youtube then Universal Productions.
I thought that Fred really did deserve the number one spot because from what we saw yesterday, it was clearly the funniest.People who go on youtube are kids our age, so odds would be that they would find a kid their age as number onee
i think people spend too much time on the internet and the fact that all these people have such huge numbers of followers shows how many people have no lives. i think a lot of the stuff was funny but i would never subscribe to any of these people. it would be cool to invent something that becomes popular but if it has to be like these stupid movies its not worth it.
I think that some of the videos are sort of silly, but it makes people laugh, and that is one of the things that most of them have in common. Also, a lot of them appeal to teenagers and are not super long videos since teenagers tend to have short attention spans. My favorite is Fred. I discovered him last year through a friend and he kept me laughing for hours. In conclusion, I learned that stupid funny stuff sells and gets you an audience.
I thought that a lot of the videos were stupid. Fred's videos prove that you tube watcher like funny videos. Also I noticed that a lot of the videos were making fun of celebrities or were parodies. A channel becomes popular when they have a unique idea. Although these channels are popular I don't think people would watch something that is too similar to other channels. We need to come up with a good idea that has never been seen before.
Out of everything that I have seen, it would seem that people enjoy the random and stupid humor that is present in all the videos we watched. All the videos, ALL of them had the same slap-stick stupid humor. I didn't find it funny but if that is what the majority of people watch on YouTube, then those are the guidelines we need to follow. We need to use the same humor in whatever we do whilst having an original concept and decent ideas. Seeing what the people watch on YouTube, we can't make anything too complicated.
I taught they good but bad at the same time. Most of the gossip videos are good but they didn't have as much comedy for my liking. But the other videos were so pointless I lost IQ point. I fond that the more idiotic the videos were the more people would watch it and they would like it too.
i have 2 sides to this arguement. On one hand i do not like freds youtube program and I think it's stupid, but on the other hand i saw where fred was coming from and I found his videos very minimally humorous. But overall it is encouraging me to make a much, Much better video than fred with better editing (if needed). A lot of the videos I found were kind of stupid.

Most people, when they look for videos or want to see videos, watch videos that are funny once, just to see what everyone is talking about, and then they'll probably never think about them again. The popularity is based on the fact that some people might think its funny because the video is so random and it stands out among other videos as contrastingly different. These videos are not actually good and would take attention away from videos about things that actual matter and are important. Thing like the celebrity gossip are completely useless and affect absolutely no one at all and are just a waste of time.

Fred's popularity is crazy, with a voice so annoying I personally don't find him funny. After watching the many subscribed channels, i found that each one had ideas so stupid its entertaining.
Other videos like Venetiaprincess, and Smosh were popular because teenagers liked them. The kind of videos people watch are the kind that are stupid and humorous, so if I was to make a video, I would definetly try to do the same.
