Mid Term Writing Project

Please watch this video and draft a comment in Google Docs. Once you have perfected your response (aware of grammar and spelling issues) please post to the Wide Angle "comment" page and send Ms. V a copy of your comment via Google Docs.

This project will be graded as part of your "mid-term assessment" --grammar and spelling errors will be taken into consideration, so make sure you triple check your comment!

Here are the steps:
1)Go to the video "China Prep"
2) Watch the video in FULL
3) Once you have finished watching the video you must "comment" about the video--draft the comment in Google Docs and send Ms. V a copy as well.

** You must watch the entire video---this means including details in your comments that are not already presented by another viewer. If you steal someone's ideas or comment parts you will automatically receive an F.

Mid Term Photo Project

Mid Term Photo/Audio Project
Due Date: Tuesday May 19th, 2009

Now that we have learned about various photographers such as Cindy Sherman, Nikki S. Lee, Herb Ritz, and Sally Mann we will begin editing our own photographs, but with a multi-media focus.

Goal: To explore the fusion between sound and image.
Here are the steps:
1) Discuss the photos taken in regard to composition, light, action, and story.
2) Select the images that will be synchronized with audio.
3) Chose your audio. Audio must relate to the visuals (photos), if you cannot find images that relate to your story you must take more photography! All images must be original!
Here are your options:
  1. Original Story: You can create an original short story, which you will record. You can use your classmate's voices to add spice to your story.
  2. Original rap, poem, or song.
