Regie Gibson is a poet who came to WHS yesterday and performed poetry for us.
I liked his performance a lot and found it interesting how he used different types of poetry, in song form and just reading it with so much emotion you could imagine the things that he was saying.
He's a democrat, he loves women, he also loves his life and treasures it, and well his poetry is his art, he changes how it sounds with his different emotions and or instruments and different ways of sharing it with us.
Regie Gibson is a poet who has an amazing talent and came to perform at our high school. I thought that Regie's performance was great and it seemed he had a lot of fun performing for us. Regie said that he is a democrat and that he loves women. He said women is the reason why he started to write poetry.
Regie Gibson is a writer, performer, and entertainer. His performance yesterday (both of them) were extremely entertaining and very insightful. The thing that stuck out the most in my head, was his description of a pool table and playing it. Another thing that stood out about him was the way he spoke outside of his performance. He was very similar, and the fluidity with the way he spoke was amazing, and something I would love to learn, god knows I can't even type correctly. Very cool guy, with a very interesting outlook on the world.

I don't really remember his view on politics beside the fact that hes a democrat but I remember him talking about how woman are his life and he got into poetry because of woman and that poetry became an art to him.

His vocals and speech were great, his body movements along with his poetry were well given, and his experiences with life explaining his work. Mr. Gibson's motivation mostly came from women. Women sparked his ideas along with his detailed vocabulary he uses to express and describe subjects he plans to write about.

Regie gibson is a well established poet. I have never heard anyone perform poetry before, and yesterday was a great experience. I was very impressed by how Mr. Gibson was able to memorize all those lines and express them with passion. The way he expressed his words put images in my mind as he spoke.
I remember him saying that women love a man who knows how to talk, and poetry is a way to get digits from chicks. Now to think of it, he refused to go on a boat ride with two guys in venice, and paid for the woman to go. I guess he really likes girls.

I like how he used different ways to read his poetry other than just reading it. He was a talented singing and drummer as well and he had many great stories to tell. Regie talked a lot about how much he loved women, and he mentioned he was a democrat also. Regie was not only a talented poet. but talented at performing it all that kept everyone entertained, from the singing, to the instruments, to his jokes and stories. He always seemed so happy to be doing what he does.
Regie Gibson is a deep poet, who was able to come to Watertown High School yesterday and perform for us.
I was really impressed by his performance yesterday, and when he was being interviewed, he was replying with very deep answers. Whenever he was responding, or performing, you could feel the emotions that he was trying to put out.

Reggie Gibson is a poet that came to perform at WHS yesterday. He is a very different type of poet, performing with a band, and incorporating song into his poems. I really enjoyed his performance yesterday. I am a rapper, but his performance helped me remember poetry was my first love in terms of writing. His views on politics seemed to lean more towards liberal, but he stressed that he didn't believe in labels and categories. He spoke truthfully and respectfully about women. He spoke very candidly about life. Not leaving out what was deemed unacceptable by society, but not indulging in the negative of humankind. He seemed very open about his art and others art, not being timid about his new found interest in Celtic music and Alaskan indegenous chanting music. A Great Poet.

What I liked best about Gibson's performance yesterday was his passion. He threw himself into his poems, speaking to the rhythm of his self-created beats, filling his poems with personalities such as DJ, preacher, rebel, Romeo and George W.
