Why is she famous? It's just a girl talking into a web cam. I had more fun reading the comments. I guess there are a few guys on there who find her attractive and try to communicate with her through responses to the videos. So maybe that is why she is popular. Who knows. She's also an actor says the majority of the posts who say she is a fake.
I honestly think that most people are watching LonelyGirl because they probably thought it was going to be something sexual. The names of her videos are kind of "spicy" and people want to see what it's about. I also think people are watching her videos because theyre different, and not alot of people would put videos up of them telling personal details about they're life.
I think lonelygirl15's youtube channel is a bit of a waste of time. The reason I think people watch her is because she is attractive and other than that i can't really quite explain why, of course it would seem to be a largely male audience(considering her most popular video is entitled "In the bedroom"). If her stories were real then I could see how her channel would be quite interesting but she isn't even saying it straight from the heart; she is having someone direct her, but i think her stories could be more interesting overall.
I think that the show is popular because it has a sense of mystery about it. when you watch it you really don't know what it is exactly about which makes me not like it but some people might like it because of that. its got a sci-fi element to it and is trying to kinda creep you out a little. I just think its weird. I think that its really bad because it is over-dramatized. iI don't understand why anyone thought that this was really because its very obvious how fake it is. You can tell that there is a camera crew and that its scripted out. It seems almost like a soap opera to me.
Personally, I have no idea why this show is so popular. It's not interesting at all since it's just some girl talking about her life story. Her videos aren't very funny, so I think that the only appealing thing would be her purple monkey, but that's it. Actually, I think that a lot of people would just go to watch it because they wanted to see what all the hype is about and out of curiosity, waiting for something interesting to happen.
I didn't like it as much because, its really boring and there is no comedy in it. I think the only reason people would watch it is because it kinda reminds me of a gossip show you find on TV and, teens love to watch drama shows and what going to happen to the people. It kinda is like the hills on MTV where its real people but they act out their fake lives.
The lonely girl seems appealing because it seems so realistic. Theres like the whole situation with "The Order" which makes you really want to watch more and find out about it...Its also like a whole series so the endings make you want to see the next one.
I think the audience is made up of mostly girls between the ages of 14 and 20. She tries to make a movie other people can connect with. I think that only gossipy girl that stay on the internet way to much are attracted to this show, and i think she did well targeting her own audience around her same age and are interested in the same stuff.
