Hello Class! I am sorry I cannot be with you today. However, I would love to learn about your experience making our Werewolf movie.
1) Please create your comment/response in Google Docs first--spell and grammar check before you post (I am a stickler to grammar and spelling)!
2) Post your comment in the "comment" section. Make sure to put your name at the end of your response.
3) Here are some questions you get you started.
What did you learn in our making of "The Day Wolf?"
What is your favorite part about the movie-making process and why?
What was the hardest part in making "The Day Wolf?"
Think about the process--script writing, shooting, and editing and all the stages.
Is this something you'd want to do again? Why or why not?
If so, what kind of film would you like to make?
These are just suggestions. This is a reflection...so try to be as reflective as possible!
I will be checking these..this is your first graded assignment.
See you after the break!!!

I learned in making the film The Day Wolf that hitting your head off of a water fountain, can really hurt. No, but in a seriousness, I learned how to use different angles to my advantage while acting. I also roughly learned how to edit.
My favorite part of the filming would obviously have to be my acting, this is because I am a “ham” and I like to be dramatic on occasion.
The hardest part in the making of this film, would probably have to be, the editing. It takes a lot of effort, it is time consuming, and it is tedious work.
This is something I would most definitely love to do again. This is because I love acting, and I would really enjoy making a music video, for a (few) song(s) of my own.

I really enjoyed making the The Day Wolf .It was a fun experience, and I learned many different techniques that will certainly help me with future projects. I learned about the various types of angles that can be filmed and that different angle makes an enormous difference in each shot. My favorite part about making the movie was the part that I got to wear some funky clothing, which was fun. The hardest part about making the movie was that we really didn’t know much about media before, such as editing so it was a little hard to follow while you were explaining the steps. This is definitely something that I would enjoy doing again. Working together as a class writing the script, creating scenes and characters was really fun, something I would enjoy doing again anytime.
I learned that shooting isn’t hard and it can be fun. My favorite part was suggesting ideas and brainstorming. It was easy and I could just relax as I suggested ideas. I don’t think was a hard part in making the movie. I would like to do something like this again. When we did this again I would like to make a action movie.

In the makiung of “day wolf” o learned that there are many camera angles, and that each of them ork differently depending on the lighting and the enviorment that the camera is shooting in. My favorite part was the editing (the little editing we did) because we could look back and take out the bad stuff to make the movie better. I think the hardest part was all agreeing on certain poarts to take out. I think this is definetly something i would want to do again, because i like thinking of ideas serious, or not serious. If i were to film something, and make up a script i think it would be a sitcom. I want to write a sitcom about the realities of high school not the populars. It woul be about everyone, and thier realationships with eachother in and outside of the classroom. I think this was a fun assignment, and next time we do something like this i hope we can have more time to film, edit and enjoy the process. If i were to change something about the project i think i would try to take it more seriously, and try not to smile if i were being killed.
I learned that talking getting the right shot is important to helping the movie happen. And that watching where the sun, is so as not to have a constant shadow over the actors is a good idea. The adding of sound to the movie was my favorite part, because you don’t have to download music from websites, which helps a lot if you don’t want to. The hardest part would have to be know what to edit, when to cut and keep so that the movie comes out right and with only the necessary clips kept. I definitely would like to do script writing. I think what the person says and how they project their voices makes the movie more realistic and less script like. I would make paranormal comedy it does not sound right adding comedy but I think I could make it work.

In the making of “The Day Wolf”, I learned some of the names of the video shots and how to take clips from youtube and put them in my movie. I also learned how to act better.
My favorite part in making the movie was when we had to go outside and make some scenes in the graveyard. I liked it because we got a chance to go outside and take a little brake from the school.
The hardest part was trying to figure out how that one girl would be part in the movie, because she had barely any scenes to act in.
I don’t mind doing this again, but the one thing that I’m sure I’ll have trouble with is the editing, because it’s much harder than anything else in the process of movie making.
I also want to add that the one and only downside in this project was trying to make the movie less than 5 minutes long. Other than that, everything was fun and educational all at the same time.
