A school in Queens New york called Francis Lewis high school has over 4,000 students. Teachers have been forced to look for any space to cram more bodies. Yet Francis Lewis high school is one of the most popular schools in new york city with 13,000 students applying last year alone. When it rains or snows physical education classes are held inside were they run in the halls. Science classes are held in one tiny room with no ventilation. Despite the harsh condition Francis Lewis has the highest graduation rate in the city with 81% of the students finishing high school. The school so far is doing pretty well with the overwhelming amount of students and sometimes a crowded school has an upside and allows you to meet many people and experience different cultures.
