Bollywood is the term used for the hindi-language based film industry based in Mumbai, India. Bollywood is by far the largest film producer in India and one of the largest film industry in the world. The 1940's to the 1960's were considered the golden age of Hindi cinema as some of the most critically aclaimed Hindi films were produced during this time. The 2000's saw a growth of Hindi movie popularity around the world which led the industries film making to new heights in all aspects. Also in the 2000's Bollywood began to influence music films in the Western world and played a significant role in the revival of the American musical film genre. A couple popular shows and movies include Khichidi(tv show),Bachke Rehnaa(game show) and My Name is Khan(movie).
