In the 1930's Tobacco was sold to both men and woman. Tobacco companies used advertisements to draw and get people to buy their products. For example they used slogans such as, "this will make you feel amazing". In this particular ad, the tobacco company used a woman and said that if woman smoke their products, they will be guaranteed that they will be in shape and slender.
