internet the new Wild Wild West?
The internet is Not the new wild west. Its more of a place for people to go to when they have no where else to go to, because as said in the movie we watched Friday, the internet is always there for some people when they need it, and it helps connect them with others.
Should teachers be entertainers?
No, that job should be left to the professionals, but it wouldn't hurt to know a thing or two about there kid's social life.
How "informed" are your parent?
Not very much informed, but then again, theres not much they need to know, they know the general stuff, no need to go into details.
Has the internet created the greatest generational gap?
One could look at it that way, but personally I don't. The speed of technological advancements in our world is faster than ever, and I think many people just aren't ready for it yet, which is why they blow things like the internet WAY out of proportion, all the internet does if used the right way is make life easier and help you connect with others, I think people from the movie like Autumn just depend on it too much, they need to use it when they NEED it, and use it properly, and parents and the rest of America should stop making a big deal out of it because all it is a technological advancement that makes life easier for us, when used the right way, there is no generational gap here.

I would say the internet is not the new Wild Wild West, because I have no idea what that means, and how you can compare the internet to the Wild Wild West.
Teachers should not be entertainers, they should do what they are paid for, which is to teach. However if it helps to teach kids, it wouldn't hurt to be entertaining.
My parents are not very informed, however they are not completely clueless.
I think that the internet has created the greatest generational gap, because it is a huge difference between the way that people get information, and entertain themselves from different generations.

I wouldnt call the Internet the new Wild Wild West, but i would say that the internet has done a good job of giving teens a new place in which they can express themselves in either being themselves or becoming a completly different person if they wanted to. And I would say that our parents are not very informed about most of the things that happen on the internet or about what we do on the computer and I would bet most would be suprised at what their kids are actually doing. I also think that the enternet has indeed created the greatest generational gap, because as you can see in the movie some parents done even know how to use the computer which gives teens even more freedom and and gives them something their parents dont have and arent capable of using.

I wouldn't call the internet the wild west because is in no way the internet completely out of control. I do believe parents could be more involved in their children's internet use because there is bulling going on. My parents are not very informed with Face Book and other recent technology, although they somewhat know what there doing. I do believe that recent technology has created a generation gap because of the lack of communication between parents and kids.

I don't believe that the internet is the new wild wild west because it's more of a place for people to express themselves and say whats on their mind. I don't think that teachers should be entertainers but I don't think it would hurt to have a little fun. My parents aren't very informed but they know some of the things that go on. I think that the internet has created a big generational gap because teens know how too use it while some parents don't know it too well and can't really use it.
