My favorite movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas. The movie was directed by Henry Selick and edited by Stan Webb. This is my favorite movie because I had grown up to watching it all the time, introducing it to my sisters as I got older. I loved the hole concept of Jack from a Halloween world meets with Santa Clause from a Christmas world, joining the two opposite holiday's together. Other movies that Stan Webb has edited include James and the Giant Peach, Antz, La Mission and others. Film editing is a very important part in making films, it keeps the watchers attention and gets them interested. Without editing a movie would just be clumps of clips thrown together that wouldn't make much sense, and bore the watcher.
