Mr Brainwash

Mr Brainwash, also known as Thierry Guetta, or MBW is a french artist and film maker now living in Los Angeles California. At first, Mr Brainwash was just a french immigrant who came to Los Angeles starting his life in America as a clothing store proprietor and a videographer, but then as he was first introduced to the idea of street art from his cousin known as ''Invader'', his whole life took a turn in another direction. Intrigued by the beauty creativity of street art and what people like ''Invader'' did, he continued following people of such nature and talents with his video camera. With a video camera in hand and mind hungry for more street creativity, Thierry Guetta proceeded to follow more street artist such as Shepard Fairy and Banksy. After years of following these artist, mainly Banksy, Thierry took the tons of tape recorded over the years and attempted to create a documentary, unsuccessfully. So then Thierry had a different idea suggested to him by his good friend Banksy. Thierry, being exposed to years of Banksy's and other proffesional's art work decided to make his own. Leaving behind his clothing business and dedicate everything he had to his artwork, Thierry,Working with a team of graphic designers, managed to create his first art gallery called ''Life is Beautiful.'' Consisting of many breathtaking exhibits such as a robot made entirely of TV's and giant Campbell's spray can and much much more, was a huge success. Originally supposed to be open 2 weeks longs, the enormous success kept its doors open for 3 months since almost 30,000 people came. His success did not stop here, as he took New York by storm with his again successful show called ''ICON REMIX'', and then continued to Miami, where he ended 2010 on a powerful note, with a show in south beach called ''Under Construction.''Thus Banksy, a legendary street artist turned the camera on the man who was filming him all along(Thierry) in the documentary ''Exit Through the gift shop''.

Excellent summary and detail regarding the figure MWB. Make sure to watch out of sloppy capitalization.
It's inspiring to read your account of MWB. It's amazing that a "French immigrant" can accomplish so much in such a short amount of time.
My question for you: Do you like his work? Do you think it is worthy of the recognition it is receiving? Furthermore, do you think Bansky has a hand at it--if so how much?
Great work.
