Watertown High School Vs. Cardinal Spellman


On Tuesday afternoon, the Watertown High School boys varsity basketball team played Cardinal Spellman for the Division 3 semi- finals. To start the game off, Cardinal Spellman took a quick lead, which got the Watertown crowd nervous. However, within five minutes, Watertown took over the lead, and never looked back, leading for the rest of the game, and winning easily 56-35. With this win, Watertown will play the winner of Whitinsville Christian and Lennox on Saturday at the DCU Center in Worcester for the state championship. If Watertown finds a way to win this game, it will be there third state championship in five years. Marco Coppola led all scores with 26 points.
