She has won the Massachusetts Bar Association's first-ever "Excellence in Law-Related Journalism" award.

Elaine is a journalist, who has worked with Boston Globe and NPR. If I can ask her a question ti would probably be about where she got her start, an why she got into journalism. It might also be her interests in journalism and her fields, since she covers many different topics

Elaine McArdle is a jounalist and writer for the Boston Globe.

One of her accomplishments is that she graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana.

I would like to ask her what kind of writing she likes to do the best and what kind of articles she writes for the Boston Globe.

My question to her is at what age did she start wanting to be a lawyer and journalist. And which job she liked or likes better.

Elaine Mcardle is a corporation lawyer turned journalist/author. Once realizing being a boring corporation lawyer isn't what she wanted to do with her life, she dropped everything and begged for a spot as a journalist for a Connecticut newspaper.

I can definitley see becoming a journalist in my future, but only to a certain extent. I am a very opinionated person, and to be a journalist it seems as though one must remain indifferent, presenting more facts than actual opinions.

I would really enjoy getting into the minds of people who society has branded "dangerous" or, "insane," to see what they are really like. Her stories of interviewing creeps and sickos sounded interesting. I could imagine myself interviewing those types of people.

My only question to her is this, are there ever any times where you wished you were still a lawyer?
