On Sunday night the MTV Music Awards took place in New York, NY Hosted by Russell Brand. Among all the winners that night Taylor Swift's win went on to be the most memorable. She took home a trophy for the category "Best Female Video"(The nominees in that category included Beyoncé, for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” and Taylor Swift, for “You Belong With Me.”). When Taylor Swift got up on stage to receive her award for best female video Kanye West took her microphone and said “I’m really happy for you, and I’m going to let you finish. But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.” I think that this interruption was set up because I don't think someone would have the guts to go on stage in front of thousands of people and tell a 19-year-old that she shouldn't have won.

I personally love Taylor Swift , so anyone who messes with her is annoying. But,anywho this was very rude of kanye west. He definatly should have not done this not only effected his reputation but embarrased Taylor Swift.

I think Kanye did over do it. He went too far with this one.and i agree that this scene was scripted.I think no one will ever do that to some one.Thats like beyond disrespect
i agree with Kanye beyonce had a great video but that was deffinitly staged because no one would ever do something like that at the VMA's....
