I think that ArMedia seems like a really interesting class. I also like that this class is being taught voluntarily. It shows that people still care about the student body and education as a whole. I think that the idea of combining language and technology is really innovative, and it makes a lot of sense. Just about everything is done electronically so it makes sense for people to learn this way, especially a language.

I think that the ArMedia class is a good way to learn a language, and the history or Armenia. Although I take Spanish II, I think that learning on a computer with the technology is way easier then learning from a text book. With the computers, its more personal and easier to understand.

I think its a good thing to have this class because you can learn much about a culture by researching the media about it. Also it it is a good way to combine modern technology with learning about a old culture that is full of tradition.

I think that combining Armenian and Media together into one class would be a fun new way of learning the language. It would give people a new way of looking at the armenian culture and a good hands-on experience. I think that all foreign languages should teach there classes this way because i think it would make learning easier, more fun and interesting, and it teaches you useful media techniques.

While reading this article, I was thinking that this is really important, because from my point of view, having met kids from my country who have never been there but speak the language, I understand that they don't know ANYTHING that happens in their country. History is important, but learning about the modern culture and current events is necessary. We can't change the past, but we can change the future. Maybe sometime in the future there will be a class where kids in Armenia will be able to communicate with kids in America. This will definitely improve their knowledge and language.

I think that this class is good for students who are fairly fluent in the Armenian' language but if you dont know a lot of Armenian' then this class would be a joke. I personally don't think that learning other languages is very helpful if you plan on staying in the US. the people that are coming to the US should learn English, this is America so please speak English.

A lot of people know Armenian and a lot of people also want to learn about it. Armenian is thought at other schools and it might be hard to know Armenian.
There is news about Armenian on TV and on the computer.

I think this is such a cool idea to combine Armenia & Media together and teach it as one class. It makes is more exciting for those in the class.

This seems like an awesome, new class - being half Armenian and in the Intro to Media class, I would love if I had one more year left in High School and could take an introductory ArMedia class next year. Media is so helpful for learning a new language, because both media AND language use communication. I think this would be a nice elective in the future, in case kids would rather have the traditional class, but I hope more language media classes come up in the future.

I like how this class is because it makes it a whole lot easier to learn a language this way. If there was a class like this for Spanish, I would taken it for sure. Since technology is increasing, I think that in about 10 years, or even less, every high level Foreign Language course, and ESL classes will be taught like this. Also for ESL students, they can learn english faster with technology, instead of a boring old book.

The armedia class semms like a fun class seeing that they are using there language and they work with media at the same time because sometimes these benifits are not usally open for everyone to use.i think using your main language and media would probally be the easiest and funnest class to attend.

I think that this class is an interesting idea. By learning Armenian while learning about Armenia and its history is an interesting idea. It helps to have context for the language that one is learning. This gives the words meaning which helps people retain the knowledge of the language better.

One would wonder if this is to much for this class. How can students learn the language effectively if the also have to blog at the same time? I know from personal experience that it is hard to learn a language even if the whole period is devoted to it.

In order to make this class more effective, I believe that outside work must be constant and rigorous. Without knowing how the class operates, I can say little to the efficiency of learning, I am merely making assumptions.

Without knowing how the class operates fully, it is hard to make a judgement on whether or not to implement this for all other languages. I feel that the traditional Spanish, French and Italian are taught quite effectively without blogging etc.

What I would endorse is the AP version of languages using this system. AP entails going beyond actual learning of the language, it mean learning about the society and the country as a whole.

/end of rant.

I think that this new class will help the students enjoy learning a new language more and it will help them learn more about current armenian culture. I Think working with the internet in all language classes would be helpful when learning about current events and culture rather than in old text books.

This new class is a great class and should open many doors to multi-lingual speaking students. With the many connections of the internet, learning a new language should not only become easier, it should also become more interesting. This is truly something that should be present in all language classes.

I think that this new class ArMedia seems very interesting and fun because your taking two classes at once. I think that combining media with learning a new language is helpful because you don't have to try to memorize words in a book, you can enjoy learning a new language and learning about the culture more. I think that this is something that all classes should have in the future because technology is increasing and so your learning how to use two skills that are good to use when your older.
